'Your thinking is cheap, not my songs!'_ YO YO HONEY SINGH

Controversial rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh said his songs are based on "Aapki soch gandi hai, mere gaane nahi (your thinking is cheap, not my songs)," roared rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh while addressing Agenda Aaj-Tak, at the Aunty Police Bula Legi, Yeh Party Yuhi Chakegi session.
"My songs are based on my keen observation. I have picked these situations from my surrounding and have presented a real situation about the youth and their mindset," he said, explaining the thought process behind his songs.
Married for more than two years, Honey Singh confirmed that he will have no objections if in the future a boy dedicates one of his songs to his daughter.
"She will tell him, 'mere baap ka song hai' (this song is created by my dad)."

Donning a black sherwani and diamonds in his ears, the Punjabi flamboyance was intact as he narrated how his meaningful rap songs on Bhagat Singh never saw the light of the day.
"No one knows that I had written this Punjabi rap on Bhagat Singh. We celebrate Valentine Day, but no one remembers Bhagat Singh birth anniversary," he added, insisting that people like naughty contemporary rap songs.
His Lungi Dance number for Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express and Lonely in Khiladi 786 for Akshay Kumar became a rage of the year.
Honey is known as one of the most expensive singers, who charges Rs 1 crore per song.
"I am either very expensive or free for my friends," he said.
"The Indian music scene is completely dominated by Bollywood music. We need to create space for indi-pop music," said Honey Singh, pointing at how Alisha Chinai and Lucky Ali once gained popularity with their individual albums in the 90s.
To bring back the culture of indi-pop, Honey recently shot Blue Eyes in Hollywood, which got more than a crore hits on You Tube.
The rapper, who had a modest upbringing and raised by his aunt in Karampura in west Delhi, insists that the youth today should not be told what to do.
"The youth these days are more secular and open-minded. There was a time when people living in South India had no clue about sarso ka saag, but today the youth know how to fight with their parents to have an inter-caste or inter-religion marriage," said the controversial rapper.
